Reports are trickling in that in order to express their joy on their idol’s return, the ardent fans of Rajinikanth have decorated the streets leading to Chennai airport with posters and banners of the superstar’s films. Speculating that fans will be thronging at the airport in large numbers, the security at the airport has been tightened. Expressing his happiness on Rajini’s return, an office-bearer of Rajnikanth Fans Association said, “it is a time to celebrate. 'Thalaivar is back to entertain us. All our prayers have been answered.” Rajini thanks fans for prayers.
Soon after getting discharged from the hospital, Rajinikanth wrote a letter to his fans, expressing his gratitude for their support and prayers. Rajini wrote, “I am thankful to my fans who prayed for my speedy recovery. I am back fit and fine because of the sincere and heartfelt prayers. “The best way to convey my thanks to all of you for the endless love is by entertaining you. I won't forget this for ages. I will soon start Rana.” Apparently, Rajini will be taking rest for nearly a month before starting off with his shelved project ‘Rana’.
