
new ford fiestaFord India have priced their new offering in range of Rs 8.23 to 9.42 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs 9.27 lakh to 10.42 lakh for the diesel, all prices ex-showroom Delhi. Both the petrol and diesel will be available in four variants - namely Style, Trend, Titanium and Titanium+. The car comes equipped with ABS, EBD, airbags and steering wheel audio controls as standard on all eight variants. The top-end variant has Pull Drift Compensation that applies force in the direction opposite to that of road camber and cross-winds, thus making driving easier.
Bluetooth connectivity, voice activated climate control and auto-fold mirrors are also part of the Titanium+ version. India is the sixth location where the new Fiesta is being built. India is also the first market to receive a pair of 1.5-litre motors, both petrol and diesel, which will power the Fiesta range across the globe in the near future. The 1.5-litre TiVCT petrol produces 106.5 bhp of peak power and has an ARAI certified mileage of 17 kpl. The 1.5-litre, 90 bhp Duratorq diesel has an ARAI certified mileage of 23.5 kpl. The frame of the car is built using a special form of steel, made using boron that enhances rigidity and keeps weight in check.
