daniel manantahe Graphic Design Forum (FGD) on Tuesday launched its Ideafest program at Jakarta Convention Center in Senayan, Central Jakarta, as part of FGD expo 2011.This year is the organization's fifth expo, an exhibition of printing, promotion, publishing and packaging held once every two years.Bernard Subiakto, the chairman of Ideafest, said the program was aimed at providing visitors with information about creative industries, and to help people enter the creative business.
Hopefully through this event many more people in Indonesia will be involved in creative businesses in coming years,” Bernard said, adding that the experts featuring at the festival had much experience to offer.
Ideafest will host a conference featuring Stefan Sagmeister, Andi F. Noya, Peter Gontha, Glenn Fredly, Sandiaga Uno, and Felia Salim, and workshops with Daniel Mananta, Yoris Sebastian, Maylaffayza, Diana Rikasari, Danny Wirianto and David Wayne Ika. (aaa)
