Ted Williams

Ted WilliamsDuring Induction Weekend at the Hall of Fame, when the ceremony is over they have a dinner for just the hall of famers and the commissioner. We were inducting Robin Yount and George Brett in, so I figured I’d have those two guys sit with Ted Williams at the dinner. If you have ever been with Ted Williams you know how intimidating he can be So Yount and Brett are sitting with Ted, and they are scared. Ted is asking them all kinds of questions about hitting. It's not the first time Williams has put that voice to good use.

Although he's been homeless for years, and has had now well-documented troubles with the law, he had a promising radio career in the 1980s, first as as an overnight DJ in Johnstown, Ohio, and later on a morning show in Columbus.Offers of TV and radio work have been pouring in for Williams from the likes of MTV, NFL and ESPN, and he's already recorded a TV ad for Kraft Macaroni & Cheese. He's also been making the rounds of the daytime and latenight talk shows, and has vowed to make the most of his second chance.
