The model-turned actress, who was at one point romantically linked to Taiwanese singer-songwriter Stanley Huang, plays a guy magnet in the film and has a steamy bedroom scene with local actor Isaac Ong. Expressing her excitement on making her acting debut in a Malaysian production, she said she would ensure that the scene comes across as sexy but not sleazy. "There'll not be full nudity, but it'd definitely be worth the movie ticket," she said coyly at a press conference in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, today.
Helmed by local director Bjarne Wong, whose past works include Possessed and Sayang You Can Dance, The Hunter 3D is going to capture the beauty that the Borneo rainforest has to offer. Production is slated to commence on June 20 in Sibu, Sarawak, and it will be shot entirely in the rainforest and long houses of East Malaysia. Touted as South East Asia's first thriller made in 3D, The Hunter 3D sees a film crew getting into the heart of the Borneo rainforest to shoot a documentary about headhunting.
