
meng qian The Millburn High School Physics Bowl Division I team earned first-place honors in the American Association of Physics Teachers’ annual Physics Bowl. The Millburn team scored the highest in the nation with a score of 166. Millburn High School Junior Henry Meng was the top individual scorer, earning 39 points. Other top scorers on the team were William Krinsman, Joe Wang, Antony Qian, Maria Khutoretsky and Jeff Fischer. The Physics Bowl is a timed exam with 40 multiple-choice questions based on information covered in a typical high school physics class. The final team scores are determined by combining the scores of each school’s top five students. Twenty-three Millburn students participated in this year’s event, competing against almost 4,000 students from schools in the United States and around the world.
